2025 Veterans Acceleration Program (VAP)
Location:
United States, South Carolina, Spartanburg
Program Overview:
Success is created by people, not by departments. Knowing the destination isn't enough: you need to know how to get there. Build up your own networks, exploit new ideas, consistently take the initiative. Inspire other people with your enthusiasm. That's the only way to give ideas the power that allows them to become true innovations. Our team is currently seeking military veterans for the new Veteran Acceleration Program (VAP).
The VAP is a one‑year program that allows successful candidates to gain training and valuable on‑the‑job experience while working full‑time at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC. The program is designed for veterans with an Honorable discharge who may not have manufacturing experience.
Participants will spend their time working and training in ONE of two designated program tracks:
Maintenance or Automotive. On‑the‑job training will occur within one of the following technologies:
Body Shop, Paint Shop, Assembly or Battery. Completion of an Associate’s degree will be required for completion of the program.
Upon successful completion of the first year, participants receive a conditional full‑time employment offer. Upon final completion of the program, participants receive a U.S. Department of Labor journeyman’s certificate.
