TIG/MIG Welders Wanted - 1st Shift Opportunity
Pay: $17/hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Set up welding equipment, select appropriate filler materials, and adjust machine settings.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and cutting torches as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
- 2+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Experience working with stainless steel and aluminum.
- Welding certification is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Industrial/manufacturing setting.
- Exposure to heat, sparks, and moderate noise levels.
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Schedule:
1st shift: 6:45am-3:00pm Mon.
-Fri.
