Opsource of Spartanburg is partnering with a leading snack food company to bring you an exciting opportunity to join their team! Our client is a well-established company in the snack food industry, committed to providing high-quality products to their customers. We're looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as Fryer Operator.

Hours for this position:

• 7:15a - 6p (sometimes 7p)
• Mon
  - Fri and some Saturdays

Pay for this position:

• $16.00

MUST BE:
Energetic - Physically Strong - Quick Learner - Experience in food production a plus

Job Duties for this position:

• Gather raw materials needed for the day's production
• Keep the fryer at the correct oil level and temperature
• Keep the seasoner full
• Use the correct raw materials according to the product being produced
• Closely communicate with the packaging machine operators and palletizers to ensure the correct amount of product is produced with minimal overages and shortages
• Closely communicate with fellow fryer operator to ensure kitchen is staffed at all times
• Complete daily paperwork to comply with USDA requirements
• Keep the kitchen neat and free of debris during operating hours
• Keep the raw material storage area neat, clean and organized

Qualifications for this position:

• Must be physically able to lift 65 lb. boxes, energetic, have good communication skills, want to learn and grow with the job, and be a team player - willing to do whatever is needed to get product produced correctly and efficiently.
• Must be able to work in a very hot, humid environment half of the year - the kitchen gets very hot in the summer.
• Experienced in food production as PLUS
• Quick learner
• Physically Strong
