About the Role:

The Flatwork/Dry Fold position is essential in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of laundered textiles, primarily focusing on flatwork items such as sheets, tablecloths, and other large fabric pieces. The role involves operating specialized folding and finishing equipment to prepare textiles for delivery or further use, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires attention to detail to identify and address any imperfections or issues with the fabric during the folding process.

The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a smooth workflow within the laundry or textile processing facility, supporting overall operational efficiency. Ultimately, this role ensures that all flatwork items are folded neatly, accurately, and ready for distribution, meeting customer and company standards consistently.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain folding equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a laundry, textile processing, or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with industrial flatwork finishing and folding machines.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
• Ability to identify fabric types and understand proper handling techniques.
• Experience with quality control processes in a production setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate flatwork finishing machines and dry folding equipment to process laundered textiles efficiently.
• Inspect textiles for stains, tears, or other defects and report any issues to supervisors.
• Fold flatwork items such as sheets, tablecloths, and napkins according to company specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on folding machines as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during daily operations.

Skills:
