Responsibilities
Administration of medication, provision of student treatments, first aid and emergency medical assistance, tube feedings, medical assessments and other related nursing needs of student. Maintains adequate medical records by recording and reporting students’ signs, symptoms, reactions, and progress through analysis of records. Reports pertinent information regarding students to the physician and Nurse Administrator/Manager II.
QualificationsGraduate from an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) program. Must have a current SC LPN License issued by the State Board of Nursing and three years of full-time experience. This position may require communication modalities dependent upon employment placement.
If selected for an interview you must provide verification of your highest level of education ( i.e., copy of BA Degree, high school diploma, college transcripts) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification ( i.e., copy of nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).
This position serves our Residential students who come in on Sunday and depart on Friday. Come join our team of special School Nurses who are an important part of our village - taking care of students from ages 5 years old to 20!
