ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Team Leader & Vaccines for Children (VFC) Coordinator to join our mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This leadership role combines direct patient care, staff supervision, and vaccine program coordination to help ensure exceptional clinical operations and outstanding patient experiences.

Duties And Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As the LPN Team Leader & VFC Coordinator
, you’ll provide clinical leadership while helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations throughout the health center.

Clinical Leadership
  • Supervise and support nursing and medical assistant staff
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing education
  • Promote teamwork and accountability among clinical staff
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with employee evaluations and competencies
  • Serve as a clinical resource for policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards
Clinical Operations
  • Coordinate daily staffing assignments and clinical workflows
  • Monitor patient schedules to anticipate staffing and patient care needs
  • Provide direct patient care when necessary to maintain operations
  • Ensure clinical policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Assist in resolving patient concerns and workflow challenges
  • Monitor inventory and oversee clinical supply ordering
  • Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives and committee work
Vaccines for Children (VFC) Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program in accordance with CDC and state requirements
  • Maintain vaccine inventory and storage documentation
  • Monitor vaccine temperatures and cold chain compliance
  • Ensure accurate vaccine documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Prepare for VFC audits and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Educate clinical staff on vaccine policies and best practices

Qualifications Required
  • Current South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Preferred
  • Three or more years of direct patient care experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience coordinating immunization or vaccine programs
  • Experience in primary care, family medicine, pediatrics, or an FQHC setting
  • Familiarity with CDC Vaccines for Children (VFC) requirements
