Dialysis Float Registered Nurse Overview

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. DCI seeks compassionate nurses to provide patient‑centered care. Paid training, competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, Sundays off, and a strong culture are offered.

Full‑time float position: four 10‑hour shifts starting at 5:30 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Location:

Spartanburg, SC.

• Pay: $31–$44 per hour, based on experience.
• Paid 12‑week training with a preceptor.

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and supplies and ensure quality standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes with physicians and families.
• Administer and chart prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection‑control regulations.
• Participate in patient‑care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews.
• Document patient education efforts and facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient‑care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated clinical excellence.
• Desire to collaborate with care teams.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Accredited nursing degree required.
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadowing available.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
