Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

A Student Custodial Housekeeping Technician may be scheduled on a weekend and will normally work up to 20-25 hours per week, but may work more hours (up to 40) during summer months. Student employee may be responsible for the preparation and beautification of classrooms, restrooms, lobbies, common areas, offices, as well as other surrounding areas of the USC Upstate campus. This position is under very limited supervision from the Custodial Services Supervisor or Superintendent of Custodial Services, and will perform custodial and housekeeping duties for assigned buildings or specified areas.

Qualifications

  • Students must have flexible scheduling and be willing to work 4-5 days per week (20-25 hours), including weekends and second shift hours.
  • Must be able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
