Part-time Veterinary Technician

We are growing and looking for an experienced Part‑time Veterinary Technician to support our additional doctor days.

• Salary: $19 – $25 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
• Schedule: 2/10‑hour shifts, Monday – Saturday. Closed on Sunday and major holidays.
• Location: 200 Okatie Village Dr, Okatie, SC 29909.

With a focus on preventive care and wellness, we provide comprehensive veterinary care for both cats and dogs.

• 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Passion for working with cats, dogs, and their owners.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting.
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dental procedure experience, scaling, polishing, radiology.
• Skilled in IV catheter placement, blood draws and general treatment room tasks.
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Laboratory skills including in‑house laboratory machines and microscope use.
• Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound‑guided cystocentesis.
