Job Description
Identify and generate new business opportunities, develop new portfolio of customers, collaborate with the sales team in the creation and updating of sales material to support our sales team and be a key growth driver in our company.
- Initiate contact with potential clients via cold calls, emails, and social media to generate interest.
- Develop customers’ portfolio by prospecting new customers and following up to start and develop long-term business relationships.
- Utilize CRM to manage and report all sales activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate promotions and information of used material, content for social media etc.
- Coordinate with the sales team, general manager and vendors to update brochures, website and other promotional material required.
- Prepare proposals according to the specifications required by customers. You should understand specifications requested and propose honest, cost-effective solutions to our customers, in order to increase the chances of converting quotes to orders.
- Build and maintain a solid relationship with customers, prioritizing customer service, honesty, competitive prices and lead times as differentiators against our competitors.
- Validate availability of products and lead times with our system and operations manager to confirm customers, so they proceed with the purchase orders.
- Validate freight quotes and confirm orders to freight companies.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery dates with our operations manager, the freight companies and customers.
- Handle customer’s complaints, coordinate the activities to address them in a timely manner.
- Coordinate visits of the general manager to new customers when prospecting for new customers when requested.
- Support the sales team and general manager in other activities linked to sales and marketing.
