Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
