As a Security Officer Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a manufacturing and industrial location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures for personnel and deliveries.
• Complete accurate reports, shift logs, and incident documentation while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
