As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution construction location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the business, construction areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors entering restricted or active work areas.

+ Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
