As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Spartanburg, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help support a welcoming environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear communication, and help to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site policies; verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and entry requirements before permitting access.
• Monitor entry points and screening equipment, identify prohibited or unauthorized items, and report irregularities or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, screening results, incidents, and daily operations; conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, screening areas, and nearby perimeter locations as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
