, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor access, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site requirements; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific reporting procedures.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied University will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
