In this role, you’ll assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of roofing systems.

• Follow and adhere to company, customer, and OSHA policies
• Assist with loading and unloading roofing materials
• Set up and tear down ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
• Remove old roofing materials
• Install new roofing materials
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow directions from the foreman or lead roofer
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Help with clean-up and debris removal at the end of each workday

The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, can follow instructions, and works well as part of a crew.

• 2 Valid forms of Federal US
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test (subject to random tests after hire)
• Subject to a background check and a personal history questionnaire
• Must be able to pass off-site safety certification and fitness for duty – initial training for 2-3 days to gain access, which is held off-site
• Prior commercial roofing or construction experience is preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and assist in strenuous manual labor
• Comfortable working at heights and on steep slopes
• Must be dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• External relevant certified training is a major plus (rigging, hand signals, PIV, etc)
