Spotter General Labor

Basic Scope/Purpose

Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties. Work usually requires the ability to work without close supervision.

Essential Functions/Duties

* Monitor active work zones to ensure safety protocols are followed.

* Identify and communicate potential hazards, including overhead risks and ground-level obstructions.

* Remove or report obstructions to maintain a safe and stable environment for lifts and equipment.

* Serve as a ground guide for scissors lifts and other moving equipment.

* Maintain clear visibility to equipment and truck operators during site activity.

* Perform general labor, including site cleanup and support for trade-specific tasks.

* Assist the Senior Superintendent or Project Manager with assigned duties.

* Work overtime or weekends as required by project

Working Conditions/Physical Effort

* Work conditions may include working on jobsites that may be exposed to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.

* Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, elevated positions, and confined spaces.

* Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift to fifty pounds.

* Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.

* Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
