What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you'll oversee every phase of assigned commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Leadership
  • Manage commercial construction projects valued at $1 million or more
  • Develop project execution strategies, schedules, and overall construction plans
  • Establish project objectives, procedures, and performance expectations
  • Coordinate project resources to maintain productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, scope, and quality goals
  • Lead estimating efforts for construction management and hard-bid projects
  • Provide leadership and coordination between office and field teams
  • Stay current with emerging construction methods, technologies, and equipment
Financial Management
  • Manage all financial aspects of assigned projects
  • Track budgets, costs, revenue, forecasting, and profitability
  • Monitor production progress and project performance
  • Protect company interests while maintaining outstanding client relationships
Team & Relationship Management
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to successfully execute projects
  • Mentor and develop team members while promoting accountability and professional growth
  • Build strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment focused on delivering exceptional results
  • Promote a safety-first culture by supporting jobsite safety planning, hazard identification, incident investigations, and corrective actions
What We're Looking For Qualifications
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and construction project management software;
    Procore experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction methods and safety practices, including steel and precast erection
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead teams, adapt to changing priorities, and continuously improve processes
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of commercial construction project management experience;
    or
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant construction management experience
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to maintain insurability
Working Conditions
  • Primarily office-based with regular travel to active construction sites
  • Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments
  • Frequent computer use and administrative work
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
