Adjunct Faculty – Speech Language Pathology
Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses or perform clinic supervision in speech‑language pathology in person at the Union campus. Teaching application requires a master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, CCC‑SLP, and New Jersey licensure. All adjunct positions are non‑tenure track and require a master’s degree in a related field and teaching experience unless otherwise indicated; candidates with an ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D., or other acceptable doctorate are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in a Learning Management System is required, consistent with University guidelines.
Responsibilities- Teach courses as specified by the department.
- Provide at least one (1) hour of availability outside class per week for each three (3) or four (4) credit class taught.
- For additional class taught, provide an additional thirty (30) minutes of availability per week.
- For teaching fewer than three (3) credits, provide at least thirty (30) minutes of availability per week.
- Offer additional office hours at discretion.
- Effective September 2025: $2,100 per credit.
- Effective September 2026: $2,225 per credit.
- Beginning in the 13th semester taught: additional $75 per credit.
- Enrollment in state administered retirement plan when eligible.
- Eligibility for Part‑Time State Health Benefits Program for medical and prescription drug coverage.
- Union campus, or other New Jersey campus locations including Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands, Kean Jersey City, Kean at Brookdale, Manahawkin, Princeton, and Trenton.
- Faculty may also be assigned to teach online classes for Kean Global.
