Staff Engineer~- PE ; FE

Position: Staff Engineer~Sign-on-Bonus PE $5,000; FE $3,000
The City of Spearfish has a staff engineer position available. A
Sign-On Bonus of $5,000 for a staff engineer with a Professional Engineering License (PE) or a Sign-on Bonus of $3,000 for a staff engineer with a Fundamentals of Engineering License (FE).

• PE - The City of Spearfish will pay 50% of the Sign-On Bonus no later than the first scheduled payroll date after the employee's hire date with the remainder of the Sign-On Bonus paid on the first scheduled payroll date after 12 months of employment and successfully obtaining a Certified Floodplain Manager certification.
• FE - The City of Spearfish will pay 50% of the Sign-On Bonus no later than the first scheduled payroll date after the employee's hire date with the remainder of the Sign-On Bonus paid on the first scheduled payroll date after 12 months of employment and successfully obtaining a Certified Floodplain Manager certification.

This position is responsible for performing Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) activities, providing engineering support activities involving both office and field work and administering the city's floodplain ordinance.

Salary:

• PE- position range: $46.40 - $70.60
• FE- position range: $42.03 - $63.96
