Core Responsibilities – Ford Accessory Manager Accessory Sales & Revenue Growth
Manage and grow OEM accessory sales (retail & internal)
Promote Ford Motor Company Genuine Accessories
Create accessory bundles for new & used vehicle deliveries
Coordinate with Sales Managers to present accessories at time of sale
Track gross profit, penetration rates, and attachment percentages
Implement seasonal accessory campaigns
Schedule and oversee accessory installations
Ensure proper warranty documentation and compliance with Ford guidelines
Maintain quality control on installs
Approve labor times and billing accuracy
Manage parts ordering specific to accessory installs
Used Vehicle Inspection Program Used Vehicle Inspection & Reconditioning Oversight
You become responsible for:
Designing standardized inspection checklist (mechanical + cosmetic)
Overseeing reconditioning timelines
Approving accessory upgrades to increase used vehicle value
Monitoring cost-to-market ratios
Coordinating with Used Car Manager
Mechanical health check
Safety compliance
Software updates / recalls
Cosmetic upgrades
Accessory upsell opportunities (running boards, tonneau covers)
Assign daily inspection workload
Monitor technician efficiency & productivity
Train on Ford standards and accessory installations
Conduct performance reviews
Ensure safety compliance
Control labor costs
Manage workflow between Sales, Service, and Parts
Accessory gross profit
Used vehicle recon time (days to front line)
Technician efficiency %
Labor sales per RO
Accessory attachment rate on new & used units
Warranty claim accuracy
