Role & responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of green sand moulding production lines.
- Monitor and control sand quality parameters (moisture, clay content, hardness).
- Supervise mould preparation, inspection, and casting processes.
- Identify and resolve casting defects to improve yield and reduce rework.
- Collaborate with melting, knockout, fettling, pattern shop, machining, and quality teams to meet production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor operators and junior engineers in molding techniques.
- Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Production Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in foundry operations, preferably in green sand molding (HPML).
- Strong knowledge of molding equipment, sand systems, and casting processes.
- Ability to analyse defects and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
