Pay Range: $33.50 - $48.50 per hour (actual pay rate dependent upon experience).

Each month, Avera will contribute $167 (up to $10,000) to help pay down your principal balance faster.

Schedule:

Varied shifts — 6:00 am‑6:30 pm, 6:00 pm‑6:30 am, 1st/3rd weekend/holiday, occasional call; 72‑hour notice / 2 weeks.

What You Will Do
  • Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with other health‑care providers.
  • Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, documenting condition, and establishing nursing diagnosis, objectives, and interventions.
  • Teach healthcare requirements by instructing patients and families to understand their condition, medications, and self‑care skills.
  • Evaluate patient care, measure health outcomes, and modify nursing care plan as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to infection‑control policies and medication administration protocols.
  • Document patient care services in patient and department records.
  • Keep patient care equipment operating and supplies ready by troubleshooting, maintaining, and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain competence in nursing capabilities outlined by leadership.
Essential Qualifications

The individual must be able to work the hours specified and perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Requirements include visual acuity adequate to perform duties, ability to communicate effectively, to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required

Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

Registered Nurse (RN) — Board of Nursing. An active license in the state of practice upon hire.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience

1‑3 years of experience working in a clinical environment.
