Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you at a 35-bed acute care facility in Spearfish, South Dakota, a setting where versatility is key. As an ER RN, you will float seamlessly between emergency, ICU, and Medical/Surgical units, providing critical support across multiple care areas. Your role involves managing diverse patient cases — from trauma and stroke to sepsis and DKA — utilizing your skills in complex wound care, assessments, and critical thinking.

The assignment is designed for experienced RNs comfortable working in fast-paced environments, with a focus on adaptability and teamwork. Expect a schedule of 36 hours per week over 13 weeks, with weekend and holiday rotations, but no on-call requirements. You’ll work with a supportive team, including charge and resource nurses, and use the EPIC charting system. The facility emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere, with free parking and a three-day orientation to get you up to speed.
