The Quality Technician 2is responsible for following procedures to inspectsupplier’sparts and materials in the cellutilizingsafety standards as required.
You’llbe DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:- Perform work within takt/cycle time(40%)
- Perform work per work instructions(40%)
- Inspection ofcomponentand workplace audit with documented results (40%)
- Initiate corrective action as required(30%)
- Setup andoperateoptical comparator to measure angles, lengths, centerdistancesand radius(30%)
- Heattreatand Gear inspection with the use of lab equipment and interpreting results to specification(30%)
- Calculatevari-roll blocks and setup independently(30%)
- Inspect all incoming material per quality instructions(30%)
- Enter NCR in computer and control parts until disposition is determined(30%)
- Maintain received files and records and update required records to show gauge status(30%)
- Use of lab equipment for gauge calibration and disposition of obsolete and worn gauges(20%)
- Using gauge calibration procedures, verify gauging used within cells(20%)
- Work with gauge suppliers for best equipment for each application(20%)
- Lab testing – audits (10%)
- Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area(5%)
- Practice 5

- Proficient understanding and ability to follow verbal and written instructions (drawings and OMS)
- Knowledge of engineering standards
