Direct Support Professional (DSP)

$15.75 per hour
• Northwest Indianapolis & surrounding areas

• Paid training including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration courses and certifications.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities with a focus on increasing independence, choice, and empowerment while ensuring health and safety at all times.
• Teach and assist individuals in all aspects of their life.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served (drivers must have valid Indiana driver’s license and car insurance; limited non-driving positions available).
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs; able to climb, balance, kneel, and crouch.
• Experience in developmental disabilities or direct care is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks.
