CNC Machinist
Speedway, IN | $31/hour + full benefits | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
We’re looking for a skilled machinist with experience operating both manual and CNC mills and lathes. This role involves working on a variety of precision parts, performing setups, and ensuring high‑quality production with tight tolerances. The position offers a stable schedule, minimal supervision, and the opportunity to take ownership of your work.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complete machine setups on CNC mills and lathes
- Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and work holding
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Perform first‑piece inspections and in‑process quality checks
- Make offsets and minor program adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency
- Work with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment
- Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of machining experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
