CF Industries seeks an Operator to support our Chemicals Operations & Site Management team. The Operator safely runs and monitors production units, adheres to SOPs, and performs routine inspections to maintain reliable plant performance. Responsibilities include adjusting process parameters, recording operating data, assisting with equipment startups/shutdowns, and responding to alarms to minimize downtime. You'll work closely with a collaborative team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, on-site industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical production and utility equipment per SOPs
- Perform regular field inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment
- Adjust process parameters to maintain product quality and throughput
- Record operating data, log events, and communicate status during shift handoffs
- Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements, including LOTOAssist with equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
- Respond to alarms and upsets, escalating issues as needed
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to support reliability and improvement
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with company policies
