Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
Vander Haag’s, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Service Technician to join the team at our shop located in Council Bluffs, IA.
This position comes with a flexible schedule (4 work days per week) with no evening hours, weekends, or on-call hours. All repairs at Vander Haag’s are completed in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned shop that is equipped with overhead cranes and hoists.
Vander Haag’s, Inc. is an independent repair shop so you get the opportunity to work on a wide range of Class 6 – 8 trucks. Repairs will be wide-ranging and include engine diagnostics and overhauls, transmission repair and replacement, electrical repairs, and more. This position will also occasionally offer assistance to other technicians for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Hours: Flexible schedule with a 4-day work week. Overtime pay for any hours worked beyond 40 hours/week.
Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. Pay is depending upon experience, ASE Certification, and other qualifications.
