Service Technician

Seeking Service Technicians at our Spencer, IA & Sioux Falls, SD locations. Sole responsibility of this position is to ensure that all rental equipment is well-maintained, safe, and fully functional. This position is crucial for customer satisfaction and overall success of the rental business.

• Equipment Inspection:Conduct thorough inspections of rental equipment to identify and damage, wear or malfunction before and after each rental
• Maintenance and Repairs:Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of rental equipment.
• Diagnosis:Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals to determine the root causes of problems
• Repairs and Replacements:Execute repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring that equipment is restored to proper working order and safety standards.
• Testing and Calibration:Test and calibrate equipment after repairs and maintenance to ensure it meets safety and performance standards.
• Documentation:Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance activities, including work orders, service reports, parts used, and equipment history.

• Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of a variety of equipment types and their mechanics, including construction equipment, power tools, and vehicles.
