Machine Operator VIWe are currently seeking candidates to fill a Machine Operator VI role. This role is part of a career lattice where our employees are rewarded and recognized for cross‑training and learning new skills. Team members will be cross trained based on various tasks in support of production operations.
What Will You Do In This Role?- Perform as coater operator on the facility’s coating machine.
- Work on the application of various types of adhesives to substrate in preparation for operations.
- Follow work order instructions to determine specifications, materials, and adjustments to ensure quality coating and minimum downtime and waste.
- Clean equipment as needed.
- Operate computer, complete daily paperwork, and maintain production records.
- Perform various tasks in support of production operations.
- Apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Normally follow established procedures on routine work, requiring instructions only on new assignments.
- Must learn and follow standardized work that has been created within assigned role.
- Develop professional expertise, apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Apply lean concepts, make and implement recommendations for process improvements.
- Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.
- High school diploma or GED and equivalent relevant experience.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn an ERP system.
- Ability to wear a respirator for coating positions.

Pay range: $19.24–$32.07 an hour. The posted salary range reflects a national pay scale and is intended to provide a general idea of compensation across different geographic regions. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and other job‑related factors. We take regional market differences into consideration to ensure fair and competitive pay in each area.
