A reputable housing association is offering a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative (Flooring) to join its Property Maintenance and Construction team.

Location:

Spennymoor
Salary: £28,851 per annum

Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:

Permanent

About the Role
  • Carry out a wide range of flooring works in both domestic and commercial properties
  • Deliver work to a high standard, always putting the customer first
  • Use your wider trade skills to support multi-skilled maintenance works
  • Work safely and professionally, following risk assessments, drawings and specifications
  • Be part of a supportive team that takes pride in doing the job right first time
What We're Looking For
  • NVQ Level 2 in Floor covering (or working towards)
  • Around 2 years' on-site experience
  • A valid CSCS card appropriate to the role
  • Experience working in occupied homes and commercial environments
  • Confidence working in a target-driven environment
  • A good understanding of health & safety and risk assessments
  • Ability to read and work from construction drawings
  • A positive, adaptable attitude with strong communication skills
  • Linked building skills to carry out multi-skilled works
