Entry-Level Accountant

A reputable accounting firm in Washington is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and gaining hands-on experience in the field.

• Assist with preparing financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Participate in training programs to develop accounting skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (recent graduates welcome)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is a plus

Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance.

Washington D.C., preferred but open to all locations within the United States.
