We’re looking for an Asset Retention Specialist to support a portfolio of financed insurance policies that have gone into cancellation due to non-payment. This role blends accounts receivable, policy administration, and customer service, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and follow-through in a structured, desk-based environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, MGAs, agencies, and occasionally insured individuals
  • Validate return premiums and reconcile balances to ensure accuracy
  • Collect outstanding funds through non‑aggressive, non‑commissioned outreach
  • Review and analyze policy documentation to identify discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records by entering and updating data in internal systems
  • Handle high-volume email communication (~80% of daily work) and some phone interactions
What You Bring:
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or entry‑level accounting
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills
  • Basic Excel proficiency and comfort working with Outlook and Word
  • Ability to reconcile balances and identify inconsistencies in financial data
  • Analytical mindset with good judgment on when to elevate issues
  • Comfortable working independently in a structured, repetitive workflow
  • Strong written communication skills with experience in email‑based work environments
