** Job Description
** Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions to support fiscal and operational teams. Process nutrition and miscellaneous deposits. Assist in the preparation of invoices for non-patient customers in Workday. Assist finance leadership with monthly accounting close including reconciliations and journal entries.
Perform other fiscal and clerical functions as assigned. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Fiscal Services Specialist to join the team!

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Prepares and processes Hospital payroll and payroll related data in an accurate and timely manner.
* Assist DFS with month-end and year-end general ledger close.
* Processes miscellaneous cash receipt deposits in an accurate and timely manner.
* Maintains current and accessible files of legal documents and communications as required to SHC-legal.
* Reconciles deposit information to source documents.
* Assist with preparing invoices for non-patient customers.
* Assist with reconciliations of general ledger activity on monthly basis.
* Run reports out of Workday on financial transactions.

* Required Qualifications:

*** 5 years Payroll
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** High School Diploma/GED
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting
* 5+ years accounting in hospital or not-for-profit setting

The pay range for this position is $26.58 - $39.86. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
