This position supports the financial oversight of grant-funded programs by coordinating reporting, tracking funding activity, and helping maintain compliance with sponsor requirements. The role works closely with finance and program staff to keep records accurate, support budgeting efforts, and provide dependable accounting support across multiple funding sources.
Responsibilities:
• Create grant billings and reimbursement submissions, ensuring each request is accurate, timely, and supported by appropriate documentation.
• Monitor receivables, spending activity, and remaining grant balances to maintain clear visibility into program funding status.
• Produce financial reports for funders and internal teams, translating accounting data into clear and reliable grant-level reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and maintain schedules that support month-end and ongoing grant accounting activity.
• Review restricted and unrestricted funds to confirm expenditures align with award terms, budgets, and compliance obligations.
• Assist with payable-related tracking and expense review for grant-supported operations and program costs.
• Contribute to grant and contract budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring in partnership with program leadership.
• Organize grant files, audit support materials, and compliance records to strengthen readiness for reviews and annual audits.
• Participate in special assignments and process improvement efforts that enhance financial accuracy and reporting efficiency.
