Job Description Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions to support fiscal and operational teams. Process nutrition and miscellaneous deposits. Assist in the preparation of invoices for non-patient customers in Workday. Assist finance leadership with monthly accounting close including reconciliations and journal entries. Perform other fiscal and clerical functions as assigned. Shriners Spokane is looking for a PRN Fiscal Services Specialist to join the team!

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of accounting and clerical support functions.

Assist DFS with month-end and year-end general ledger close.

Processes miscellaneous cash receipt deposits in an accurate and timely manner.

Maintains current and accessible files of legal documents and communications as required to SHC-legal.

Reconciles deposit information to source documents.

Assist with preparing invoices for non-patient customers.

Assist with reconciliations of general ledger activity on monthly basis.

Run reports out of Workday on financial transactions.

Required Qualifications:

5 years Clerical Support

Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED Bachelors Degree in Accounting5+ years accounting in hospital or not-for-profit setting

The pay range for this position is $24.50-$36.76/hourly

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
