Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our administrative team in Cashmere, WA. In this role, you will take complete ownership of the full-cycle accounts payable process—ensuring accuracy, vendor satisfaction, and strict adherence to accounting deadlines.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction office environment, brings strong financial organization skills, and possesses a proven track record in commercial or industrial accounting workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Full-Cycle Accounts Payable:
Manage end-to-end AP functions, including vendor invoice processing, purchase order matching, coding, and weekly check runs. - Vendor & Account Reconciliation:
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors; resolve invoice discrepancies and account inquiries promptly. - Compliance & Record Keeping:
Ensure all payments comply with company policies, job-costing structures, and construction accounting standards. - Financial Reporting Assistance:
Support the office and leadership team with month-end closing procedures, reporting, and audit preparations as needed. - Cross-Functional Support:
Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and office staff to verify job-cost coding and material billing.
- Experience:
5+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, or commercial industrial sector. - Software Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Hands-on experience with Sage 300 RE Construction software is strongly preferred. - Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with job-costing, construction lien waivers, and purchase order systems is a major plus. - Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. - Licensing &
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Pay Range: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
