Description
Job Objective: The Assistant Community Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager with all community operations and overall appearance of Community. When there is no Leasing Specialist on staff the Assistant Manager’s duties extend to cover that position on a daily basis. When the Community Manager is on leave the Assistant Manager’s duties extend to cover that position until they return to work.
Compensation: Hourly $20.00 - $22.00 DOE. Leasing bonuses.

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for Overall Appearance of Community
- Rent/Lease Apartments
- Conduct move-ins and lease renewals
- Conduct Daily property walks
- Collect all monthly rents
- Collect on current delinquent accounts
- Responsible for delivering all notices (3 Day, 10 Day and lease violations)
- Courteously handle resident requests and complaints
- Assist Community Manager in Resident Retention Stratigies
- Implement leasing and marketing strategies
- Assist in presenting a well-maintained quality product (both interior and exterior)
- Inspect turned, vacant units to ensure they are rent ready per company standards
- Inspect grounds, models, and community office daily
- Organize resident retention functions including parties and newsletters
- All other tasks as assigned

Education: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Experience: Management and/or apartment leasing experience preferred (not required).
Equipment: Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to pick up supplies and perform other duties as necessary.
Attendance/Schedule:
Regular work schedule for this position will be 5 days (Typically Tuesday – Saturday) a week 8:00 AM to 5 PM (hours vary depend on the location). The individual must be punctual and accountable. The individual must attend all training classes and meetings as scheduled.
