Location: Spokane, WA
Division: Community Corrections Division – Spokane Special Assault Unit (SAU)
Salary: $3,630.00 – $4,833.00 per month
Non‑permanent, full‑time position (approximately six months) supporting the Administrative Assistant 4, Community Corrections Supervisor, and Community Corrections Officers. The role provides file and record management, front‑desk support, and other clerical duties.
Work HoursMonday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary receptionist: greet clients, direct visitors, and manage a multi‑line phone system.
- Ensure secure access: unlock the main entry door at opening and lock it at closing.
- Assistance to the Special Needs Unit as required.
- Maintain electronic and physical files; enter and retrieve data from OMNI, OnBase, and other systems.
- Provide general clerical support to the AA4, CCS, and CCOs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least six months of clerical experience, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Unrestricted driver's license valid in Washington.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Respect for confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive material.
- Ability to assist individuals with a criminal background.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Two years of clerical experience with Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Customer service or front‑counter experience.
- Experience with a multi‑line phone system.
- Background and criminal‑record check; pre‑employment drug test required.
- Familiarity with handling sensitive and confidential information.
