Dental Front Office Administrator/Patient Care Coordinator
We are a high-level prosthodontic practice in McLean, Virginia and we need a full-time lead Patient Coordinator/Doctor’s administrator to replace our coordinator who is moving out of the area. We are looking for a special person to take over the lead position, primarily working from our McLean, VA office and occasionally in our main office in Foggy Bottom, NW Washington, DC.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, ambitious, have great communication skills, and enjoy interacting with people. - Full‑time position with Monday – Thursday hours from 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday hours from 7:15 AM to 12:30 PM
- Scheduling appointments for doctors and hygienists
- Communicating with patients about their treatment plans
- Answering phone calls and returning emails
- Assisting the accountant with financial reports and interoffice communication
- Patient scheduling, billing and collections on a daily basis
- Responsible for corporate correspondence
- Updating the doctors on current projects and reports
- 2–3 years’ experience in a top‑level, deadline‑oriented professional environment as a dental care coordinator or administrative assistant
- College degree in business preferred
- Experience using Denticon dental software
- Must be articulate and detail‑oriented
- Advanced proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Extremely well organized and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent communicator within your team, doctors and patients
- Motivated self‑starter with strong leadership, organizational and analytical skills
- Hourly rate based on skill and experience level
