Position Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a high‑volume claims processing team. This role is responsible for reviewing claim information, accurately entering data into internal systems, and assisting with the suspension, rejection, and resolution of claims based on established guidelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment, maintains a high level of accuracy, and can manage large workloads while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review and process a high volume of claims in accordance with established procedures and service‑level agreements.
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain claim information in company databases and systems.
- Identify incomplete, inaccurate, or non‑compliant claims and suspend or reject claims as appropriate.
- Verify supporting documentation and ensure all required information is present before processing.
- Research claim discrepancies and elevate complex issues to appropriate teams.
- Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality metrics in a high‑volume environment.
- Monitor work queues and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Follow company policies, confidentiality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve claim‑related issues efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous data entry, claims processing, administrative support, or insurance/healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to process large volumes of work while maintaining quality standards.
- Proficient with computers, data entry systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Contract position based out of Spokane, WA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour.
