Pay Range$20-$28 hourly DOE
Job TypeFull-Time, Temporary, this is not a remote position.
What You'll DoAs a Permit Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting our Production team by managing permits, inspections, and project documentation across multiple markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Obtain building permits for residential and commercial roofing projects.
- Coordinate and schedule permit inspections with local municipalities.
- Work closely with Scheduling and Production teams to align permit timelines with project schedules.
- Communicate with city and county offices regarding permit requirements and approvals.
- Travel to local permitting offices when in-person permit submission or pickup is required.
- Maintain accurate permit records and update project information within company software.
- Complete data entry and administrative tasks to support daily operations.
- Monitor permit status and proactively follow up to avoid project delays.
- Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable communicating with municipalities, inspectors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel.
- Administrative, permitting, construction, logistics, or project coordination experience is preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
