Traveling (Medical) Receptionist – Spokane, WA

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Traveling (Medical) Receptionist in Spokane, WA for a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity. The position provides reception and administrative support across multiple medical office locations.

Position Highlights:

  • Home base in Spokane, WA, with assignments traveling to designated regional office locations.
  • Variable schedule: days, hours, and locations will change based on weekly coverage needs
  • Shifts may range from approximately 4–5 hours to 10–11 hours
  • Early mornings and some evening or weekend coverage may be required (must be flexible)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required
Position Summary

The Traveling Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for examinees, visitors, physicians, and staff. This position handles front desk operations, examinee check-in, telephone coverage, documentation, and general administrative support while maintaining a professional, organized, and confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned office locations, which may vary daily.
  • Welcome and check in examinees and visitors and direct them appropriately.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally.
  • Verify examinee and appointment information and prepare required documentation.
  • Provide, collect, and properly file examination paperwork.
  • Direct examinees to examination rooms and chaperone examinations when required.
  • Help maintain smooth examination and appointment flow.
  • Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, emailing, scanning, and proofreading.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional lobby.
  • Monitor supplies and support efficient use of clinical resources.
  • Participate in required training and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Receptionist, front desk, administrative, customer service, medical office, or similar experience preferred.
  • Must possess complete knowledge of general computer and other standard office equipment.
  • Must be knowledgeable of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Ability to follow instructions, policies, and respond to management’s directions accurately as they may change or be added during employment
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing schedules and locations.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.
  • Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractions.
  • Must possess strong communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and/or stressful conditions.
  • Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between office locations, primarily throughout the Spokane, WA area

Schedule & Travel:

  • Flexibility is essential for this position. This is not a set Mon-Fri schedule; this will vary from week to week based on coverage needs, including different days, locations, and shift lengths. Most assignments will be within the Spokane area,
  • Some examinations may run early morning or late evenings, so candidates must be comfortable with occasional later shifts and variable end times. (Clinic times vary)
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
