Position Summary

The Site Experience Manager plays a vital role in providing structure and support to campers, guests and staff. This position oversees all office operations, including but not limited to checking in individuals arriving to camp, adjusting guest reservations as needed, communicating camper/guest needs to the reservation, program and property teams, filing and data management, overseeing the camp store; and performing various office tasks as needed.

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on a Wednesday-Sunday schedule. Overnight communal housing is available; however, staff are not required to stay on camp. Meals in the dining hall will not be provided, however staff will be provided with a weekly food order and can prepare their meals in the kitchen in their staff lounge.

Compensation for this position is $145 - $155 per day, with the starting rate dependent on previous employment at GSWW camps.

Camp Season 2026 will run from June 7th through August 18th, with start and end dates determined by position. For the 2026 season, site rental staff will divide their summer between Camp Robbins wold and Camp St. Albans. They will begin ans for the first week of training, then transition to Robbins wold for the second week. Staff will work three weeks at Camp St.

Albans , take a short break, and then complete three weeks at Camp Robbins wold.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Observe and evaluate program specialists, scheduling weekly one-on-one meetings with staff to deliver feedback
  • Develop weekly staff schedules for all activity areas based on reservation bookings
  • Provide quality customer service via phone, email, or in person that resolves concerns by offering creative solutions in a timely manner
  • Responsible for ensuring check-in and check-out procedures with guests/campers are followed.
  • Maintains guest reservations, camper and staff files, release forms, and other records in accordance with confidentiality policies of GSWW and the American Camp Association.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp store including but not limited to set-up, tear down, inventory management, processing sales and coordinating with the Retail team as needed.
  • Ensure the safety of all campers during their stay by following all policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Maintain quality control of programming, ensuring that it matches the abilities and interests of campers
  • Support the development of the summer camp team through planning and facilitating training workshops, regular staff meetings, and coaching and feedback sessions
  • Carry out established duties for general camp operations including camp cleaning, season opening and closing tasks, and completion of necessary paperwork
