Summer Seasonal, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
We are looking for an enthusiastic TEMP SEASONAL EVENT ASSISTANT to join our team at RIVERFRONT SPOKANE and SPOKANE PARKS. This position is part of an ongoing Temp Seasonal recruitment process.
The following responsibilities and requirements outline the essential functions and qualifications for the role.
- Coordinates and collaborates with applicable Park teams to support operations and services related to events, rentals, and programming.
- Provides necessary event information to other City departments.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills with greeting & welcoming guests.
- Operates a personal computer, including word processing software and basic office equipment, such as a copier and laminating machine.
- Communicates and keeps records using personal computer and related software.
- Takes on special projects as assigned, maintains documents, and participates in ongoing training and development.
- Operates a motor vehicle as needed to move between various work locations.
- Attends pre‑event planning meetings.
- Works independently for events, surveys the venue, and assesses what needs to be set up.
- Collaborates with organizers to ensure event success.
- Performs janitorial duties as needed.
- Upholds Riverfront and Spokane Parks rules.
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Work hours may vary from early mornings to late evenings.
- Weekend availability required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Required to submit a background check.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
