Position: Procurement Specialist 5

Our client, a leading organization in the data center and technology industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 5 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 5, you will be part of the procurement department supporting large-scale data center initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to sourcing and supplier management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $50/hr W2 + Benefits (
NO C2C )

What's the Job?
  • Lead sourcing strategies within defined categories or subcategories, engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements.

  • Oversee the sourcing process, including managing purchase orders, change orders, RFQs, and supplier follow-ups.

  • Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with strategic suppliers and identify new potential partners.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and best practices across all sourcing activities.

  • Support large‑scale data center projects by managing procurement activities related to equipment and services.

What's Needed?
  • 3‑4 years of procurement or contract management experience, particularly in data center equipment or related fields.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Understanding of procurement techniques, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with flexible hours to accommodate time zone differences.
