Job Description

The Organizational Change Manager collaborates closely with project managers, business owners, and functional teams to coordinate and reinforce the activities that enable successful change. This includes stakeholder engagement, communication planning, training alignment, and operational preparation, particularly within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment where safety, compliance, and consistency are foundational.

Change Strategy & Impact Assessment

  • Conduct change impact assessments to understand how processes, systems, and roles will shift across impacted groups.
  • Translate impacts into clear, actionable readiness plans that prepare employees for operational and behavioral changes.
  • Identify adoption risks and recommend mitigation strategies that reduce disruption and strengthen readiness and speed to proficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
  • Identify and engage the stakeholders and teams impacted by upcoming changes, ensuring they understand what to expect and how it affects their work.
  • Develop and deliver clear, timely, plain‑language communication materials (emails, leader talking points, FAQs, quick guides).
  • Coordinate engagement with sponsors, leaders, and frontline teams to build understanding, encourage adoption, and reinforce key messages throughout the change lifecycle.
Training, Enablement & Speed to Proficiency
  • Conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with HR/L&D and functional SMEs to ensure training content aligns with required behavioral and operational changes.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training materials when needed, based on project complexity, timeline, and resource availability.
  • Support training logistics such as scheduling, communications, coordination with SMEs, and preparing leaders and teams for training activities.
  • Equip teams with the resources, tools, and guidance needed to achieve speed to proficiency following go‑live.
  • Reinforce learning through post‑go‑live communications, job aids, coaching resources, or refresher sessions as appropriate.
Readiness Planning, Execution & Support
  • Build and manage readiness plans that outline who needs to be ready, for what, and by when.
  • Measure and monitor team‑level and site‑level readiness, escalating gaps early and adjusting plans where necessary.
  • Support go‑live preparation, operational cutover, and stabilization/hypercare activities.
Project Collaboration (OCM + PM Partnership)
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to align OCM plans with project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Provide OCM input into PM artifacts such as stakeholder registers and communication plans (without performing PM tasks).
