Introduction to TeamThe Product Team creates end‑to‑end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group. We focus on customer‑centric innovation and partner closely with teams across the company to drive growth and achieve results.
In this role, you will:- Define and execute the Partner Payments product strategy and roadmap, delivering predictable, timely, and low‑friction partner payouts across markets.
- Design and optimize Partner Payments onboarding and opt‑in experiences so partners can easily adopt payout products and see clear value.
- Partner with Finance, Payments Operations, and platform teams to streamline cash operations, automate netting, and simplify payout flows.
- Translate strategy into clear product opportunities and requirements, grounding payout decisions in competitive insights, customer pain points, and friction in the partner payout journey.
- Drive alignment and execution with engineering and design, ensuring partner payments goals are well understood and supported by high‑quality product documentation and user stories.
- Prioritize product initiatives using a data‑informed approach, balancing short‑ and long‑term outcomes, and clearly communicating product concepts, trade‑offs, and decisions to cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of delivering innovative, user‑centric products.
- 3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, financial operations, or marketplaces.
- Demonstrated ability to own a complex problem space end‑to‑end in a backend or platform domain.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data and experimentation to inform priorities and measure impact.
- Technical fluency and experience collaborating closely with engineering on APIs, data flows, and system constraints.
- Experience working with B2B or partner‑facing products and influencing cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience working on AI/ML products.
- Prior experience integrating AI/ML capabilities in the payments domain.
Location & Salary:
This position in Austin and Seattle offers a total cash range of $137,500 to $192,500, with the potential to increase pay up to $220,000 based on performance.
