As an Account Manager you’ll serve as the connective tissue between our clients, internal design teams, vendors, and installers, guiding projects from concept through completion. You’ll lead with insight, ensuring every solution is functional, on time, and on budget. This role is ideal for someone who understands the language of interior design and architecture, is passionate about client success, and knows how to deliver results in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, account management, or interior design
  • Working knowledge of space planning, commercial furniture products, and design processes
  • Proficiency in relevant design and project management software (AutoCAD, CET, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with construction documents, architectural coordination, and installation sequencing

Responsibilities

Client Strategy & Relationship Development

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients; assessing needs, defining project scopes, and proposing thoughtful, aesthetic, and budget-conscious solutions
  • Build long-term relationships through clear communication, creative problem-solving, and consistent follow-through
  • Deliver engaging client presentations and proactively lead the internal team to exceed expectations

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage all phases of a project; from initial proposal to final installation
  • Coordinate internal and external resources including design, procurement, vendors, and logistics
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure a seamless client experience

Creative & Technical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with designers to develop solutions that balance form, function, and cost
  • Review and manage specifications, drawings, and order documentation
  • Leverage industry platforms and planning tools to communicate project details clearly and accurately

Business Development & Industry Engagement

  • Proactively generate new business and nurture client referrals
  • Represent Contract Design in the community through networking and professional outreach
  • Stay current on industry trends, products, and technologies to inform client solutions
